Stingers for short (thanks Cricket for dat name)


FACTS:
-In the wild, they mostly live in caves and go hunt outside by night.
-In the wild, they feed on fruits, frogs, insects, birds, small mammals (like deer or goats), some even fish.
-In the wild, they won't hesitate to hunt cattle in the middle of the night.
-Wild animals are sometimes caught and used in ceremonials by tribes, their venom is thought to have some beneficial effect in diluted dose.
-Only known tamed animals are blindfolded. If they manage to get their sight back they will flee without return, often hurt from getting the folds off with their pincers.
-Breeding wild-caught individual is quite hard since the dams are nervous for not being able to keep an eye on their offspring at all time, so they are often kept in a closed space free to care for their young.
-Dogs bred and raised in captivity are less aggressive, often their tail is tied so they can't hurt others or themselves with their stings.
-Pups playing often hurt each others, even if their venom is not as strong as adult, it teach them to be careful and have more control on the action of their tail as well as straightening their capacity to resist to the venom effect. It shouldn't be avoided.

-Even with their thick coat they can stand hot temperature.
