This for is the main reason for the rumor of Sylves being divinity. It was common for egyptian to make an offering before getting on their boat, or once at sea if they had trouble: they let the incense float until it found it's way back to the ground. There the sylves would smell it and change, mane and tail turning into large scales as they got reptilian pupils and swam back to the sailor. They would guide lost boat, help shipwrecked to find their way back, save drowning people or help a swimmer to go through the angry river.
Their body becomes more flexible, elbows getting out of it's original axis to allow swimming as crocodile would do, however they tend to keep their head lower in this form, to be more comfortable. Their spine covered with plane scales is really tough, he's able to carry a standing human all along it's spine from neck to the beginning of the tail, and several sitting person.
They don't mind meat in this form.
It is the form the closest to the original morphing as the traditionnal egyptian incense is the closest to the original one used for the offerings.

Anaori

This form appeared later than the other, as the algae in this incense arrived with japanese product later in the Meaditerranean. Sylves that happened to breath the incense tended to roam in deeper sea and ocean, herding the fishers back to safety, by fear of their appearance, they learnt to make them go the right way against their knowlege. Most of the time they were mistaken for water snake or water dragon, and no one dared to have a second look at them.The have a smooth coat, almost like seals, can breath under water, their mane and tail turn into fins, and small ones grow on their joints, their teeth turns sharper. They more agile and quicker in this form that other, more alert, harder to calm down.
They enjoy fish more than anything in this form, and other water plants rather than regular grass and hay. Shark patterned sylves seem tobe able to hold this form longer than the others.

Ghassoul

Night Protector
The most impressive change of Sylves. Feared as much as worshipped, they were the ones to be called to protect your night. May it be evil spirit or wild animals, burning ghassoul incense around your house or at ones window will bring those cunning animal protection upon you. Knowing their presence was to protect ones self didn't stop people to fear their massive and uncommon morphology, and the smell of blood that sometimes hang after they kill. In this form they often hunt small animals like rodent up to foxes. They enjoy fruit and blood. That is the bet of the summoner, attracting them more efficiently with blood then other predators they want protection against. They are really silent and calm, and only ward off any threat, once you see one they tend to appear in your dream and if you don't show fear there, they will see you at day.
They are also known as traveler protector, they follow caravan during the day staying in the shadows, and guard the camps at night.
Tamed they were soon also used for their wool which is really smooth and warm and protect anyone during cold night. Wool spread over the check, neck and main body, wool of the body and cheek can be sheared and spinned like sheep wool, it is more dense and softer than cashmere.
